About me

Hannah is a multimedia journalist who has reported on entertainment, culture, politics and local news.

She obtained a first-class honours degree in English literature and theatre studies from the University of Reading in 2019 and began her journalism career in 2021.

After dabbling in commercial writing, and assembling a portfolio of stories, she was accepted onto the digital journalism course at News Associates, earning a gold-standard NCTJ diploma in July 2021.

From here she joined Reach PLC title BerkshireLive as a local news reporter, covering a wide range of stories that spoke to a diverse and growing readership.

Stand-out stories included features on Hong Kongers who had moved to Reading following the CCP's crackdown on dissidents, and live reporting on reactions to the Russo-Ukrainian war and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

In 2023 Hannah moved to London where she reported on culture and entertainment for the Press Association. During awards season she reported live from the red carpet at the Bafta film and TV awards, interviewing a slew of high-profile celebrities from Steve Coogan to Simon Pegg. In 2025 she became a senior reporter and led PA's coverage at Glastonbury Festival, Edinburgh TV Festival, and the National Television Awards.
